BEFORE adoption

What do I risk?

Do not turn a Pet unhappy while making you unsurroundable worries.

Take time to answer each of these questions, you will get an idea of what you may expect:

  1. My family circle (husband, spouse, childs, parents) agrees?
  2. Will my compagnon be considered as a true family member?
  3. Will he be well housed, well treated?
  4. Will children avoid to make him suffering by including him in their games?
  5. If it is a dog: Do I have time enough to spend 2 hours each day at least with him?
  6. Can I pay its upkeeping ( vaccines, food, veterinary cares, Civil Liability Insurance ...)?
  7. Am I able to train him correctly?
  8. What will I do with him during the holydays, absences?
  9. Who will take care of him if I am ill, if I die?
  10. Will I be able to take him along if I leave the country?

If you feel it is too difficult, even if it bothers you a lot,
DO NOT ADOPT!
