Ageing in Dogs is not linear, contrary to a widely spread commonplace. In fact, the heavier they are, the faster they get old.
Ageing in Cats, it, is quite linear : they get 4 years each year after beeing two years old. They live thus, normally, longer than dogs.

Red numbers indicate the pet reached what we call old age for us, that is to say, a reduced appetite, a body less active, the appearance of weakness signs for some organs - eyes and kidneys in particular (see our health cards) - and a bigger sensitivity to diseases:

Of course, this is an average and, like for us, anyone follows his own unique 'way', determined by genetics and by accidents and diseases that fortune brings.

However, all are young for 7 years at least, but the life expectancy of a Polynesian Pet is - at present - of only from 4 to 5 years.
